A Kerrville man is alive thanks to the quick actions of two Kerrville police officers.

Robert Knight, 63, was rescued from his overturned vehicle Monday night as rainwater flooded the drainage ditch at the intersection of Texas 173 and Texas 16.

He was released from the scene with no injuries.

Knight said he owes his life to the officers and firefighters on scene that night.
